Chiropractic manipulation: mobilizing the spine and joints of the extremities to restore normal range of motion. Techniques include Diversified, Activator, Thompson/Drop table, and Flexion-Distraction
Webster Technique: an adjusting technique that is used for the pelvis, particularly during pregnancy. Adjustments during pregnancy help to optimize the function of the pelvis which allows you to be more comfortable throughout gestation and birth
Myofascial release: reducing the spasm of muscles throughout the spine
Electrical stimulation: stimulates the release of endorphins and enkephalins which reduces acute pain
Moist heat: Stimulates blood flow, reducing muscle tension
Ultrasound: decreases local inflammation through a pulsing deep heat modality
Mechanical traction: decompresses the spine, allowing for increased blood and nutrient flow to the intervertebral discs
Rehabilitative exercises: stretching, active and passive range of motion, stabilization exercises to increase flexibility, correct posture, and return patients to activities of daily living
Bloomsburg Family Chiropractic, PLLC also offers Department of Transportation Certified Medical Examinations: 
As part of the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners, Dr. Ardo performs physicals for drivers with a CDL or those required by PennDOT to have a medical card. The physical examination includes vitals, vision and hearing tests, and a urine sample.
